Amy Locane, an actress who appeared in the prime-time serial “Melrose Place,” was sentenced Thursday to additional jail time over a decade-old drunk-driving New Jersey car crash that killed a woman.

State Superior Court Judge Angela Borkowski hit Locane with an eight-year sentence, according to The Associated Press. Locane has already served time behind bars; she received a three-year sentence in 2013.

Locane allegedly had a blood alcohol around triple the legal limit in 2010 when she crashed her speeding vehicle into a car carrying Helene Seeman, 60.

The collision in Montgomery Township, N.J., killed Seeman. Her husband, Fred Seeman, was driving and was severely injured.

Locane, 48, has appeared in a number of movies in addition to her TV work, which included more than a dozen episodes of “Melrose Place.” She has 45 days to appeal her new sentencing.
